“Rethinking Industry” through AI, with Assolombarda and IT4LIA AI Factory

This past October, IT4LIA AI Factory signed the “Rethinking Industry” Memorandum of Understanding with Assolombarda, joining the group of IT4LIA’s first partners.

Assolombarda, the employers’ association serving the Milan metropolitan area and several Lombard provinces, is one of Italy’s largest business associations dedicated to protecting member companies’ interests and supporting their competitive development.

The agreement marks a step toward building ForgIA: Italy’s national digital ecosystem focused on valorizing industrial data and promoting Artificial Intelligence as a tool for productivity, competitiveness, and digital transformation of the Italian manufacturing sector.

Rethinking Industry brings together institutions, universities, research centers, and companies within an AI ecosystem aimed at fostering growth, data sharing, and building new skills.
